Discovery Phase client Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossman’s (“BLB&G”) annual Forum for Institutional Investors will be held in New York City on October 22 & 23, 2009. This year's Forum, "Protecting Shareholder Value: Institutional Investor Activism in a Changed World," will focus on the enormous worldwide impact of the economic crisis, as speakers and faculty examine the evolving landscape of investment philosophy, regulation, litigation and corporate governance. Former Secretary of State and retired Four-Star General Colin Powell, political analyst and The Huffington Post editor-in-chief Arianna Huffington, and economist and columnist Ben Stein will deliver keynote addresses. Along with the educational day sessions, the Forum will include evening events at New York City landmarks - including a Gala Dinner at the United Nations sponsored by Discovery Phase.
